Accountant

Requirements:

✔️ BCom Degree or BTech in Financial Accounting
✔️ Completed articles
✔️ AGA (SA) through SAICA / CIMA would be advantageous
✔️ Strong IT and MS Excel skills
✔️ Good communication skills and attention to detail
✔️ Valid driver’s licence


Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare and post journals for monthly management accounts
• Manage foreign creditors and import documentation
• Prepare and reconcile VAT returns
• Perform inter-company reconciliations
• Prepare tax packs and financial reporting
• Reconcile ledger accounts
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting
• Prepare treasury schedules and Capex submissions
• Assist with internal and external audits
• Prepare monthly management reporting
• Perform other ad hoc finance-related duties as required
