🔎 AUDIT MANAGER | JOHANNESBURG / BENONI

A growing audit and accounting practice is looking for a technically strong Audit Manager to join its Assurance Division.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced Audit Supervisor/Manager who enjoys managing engagements, leading teams and building strong client relationships.

📍 Location: Johannesburg / Benoni, Gauteng
💼 Employment Type: Full-time
💰 Salary: Depending on experience

🔹 Key Responsibilities
Manage audit, independent review and assurance engagements from planning to completion.
Review audit files, working papers and annual financial statements.
Ensure compliance with ISA, IFRS for SMEs and the Companies Act.
Manage budgets, deadlines and audit teams.
Resolve technical accounting and audit matters.
Mentor and develop audit staff and review SAICA trainee assessments on E.A.T.
Build strong client relationships and provide technical guidance.

🔹 Requirements
✅ Completed SAICA articles – essential
✅ Minimum 2 years' Audit Supervisor/Manager experience in an audit practice
✅ CA(SA) preferred, not essential
✅ Strong knowledge of IFRS for SMEs, ISA, Income Tax Act and Companies Act
✅ Independent audit engagement management experience
✅ CaseWare Working Papers & CaseWare Cloud
✅ Independent review and assurance experience essential

⭐ Advantageous: Group audits/consolidations and exposure to attorney trust, property, FSCA, retail, wholesale or hospitality audits.
