Claims Consultant – Short-Term Insurance
📍Moreleta Park, Pretoria
The successful candidate will act as an intermediary between the company, insurers, clients and service providers in the end-to-end claims process. The role focuses on delivering professional claims support, ensuring fair and timely claims settlements, maintaining strong insurer relationships, and providing exceptional client service, while adhering to all regulatory requirements, including FAIS, POPIA, and Treating Customers Fairly (TCF).
Qualification Requirements
- Matric (Grade 12)
- RE5 will be advantageous
- COB (Class of Business) courses for Commercial and Personal lines must be completed
- Minimum of 3 - 5 years of experience in Commercial and Personal Lines
- Knowledge of TIAL and Cardinal systems will be beneficial.
Skills Requirements
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for interacting with clients and relevant stakeholders
- Excellent interpersonal relationship skills
- Professionalism and integrity.
- Analytical ability and must be detail-oriented
- Ability to identify and resolve issues related to claims
- Must be able to speak, read and write English and Afrikaans (non-negotiable)
- Must be MS Office computer literate
