Job Description

This is a full-time, on-site Consultant role located in Durban. The Consultant will provide expert advice and strategic solutions in employment and labour law, construction disputes, and commercial litigation. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting legal research, drafting agreements and documents, liaising with clients, attending court proceedings or dispute resolution meetings, and working closely with a collaborative legal team to achieve optimal outcomes for clients.

Qualifications

• Expertise in Employment and Labour Law, Construction Disputes, and Commercial Litigation
• Strong skills in Legal Research, Document Drafting, and contract reviews
• Ability to conduct Negotiations, Mediation, and provide Strategic Legal Advice
• Excellent Communication and Client Relationship Management skills
• Proficiency in Time Management and attention to detail
• Adherence to high ethical standards, empathy, and demonstrated integrity
• Bachelor of Laws (LLB) or equivalent qualification, with admission as an attorney or advocate
• Prior experience working within employment, labour, or construction law is highly advantageous
