Customer Service Agent

We are a leading car rental company passionate about delivering exceptional customer experiences. We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Reservations Agent to join our dynamic team. This is a full-time on-site role in Cape Town. The Reservations Agent will be responsible for handling phone reservations, providing excellent customer service, and performing receptionist duties.

Key Responsibilities:

Reservations & Customer Service:

Handle incoming reservations and ensure seamless booking processes.

Provide outstanding customer service and resolve client tickets efficiently in collaboration with branches.

Maintain excellent phone etiquette while addressing customer inquiries.

Support for Key Account Managers (KAMs):

Assist KAMs with executing quotes and bookings to drive sales growth.

Support internal sales processes, including onboarding new accounts.

Ensure all legal documents are signed and submitted before account activation.

Customer Relationship Management:

Monitor and manage customer credit limits, ensuring all accounts stay within limits.

Communicate with Operations, Branch Managers, and Fleet teams to address new client needs.

Build strong relationships with branch managers to enhance customer satisfaction and retention.

Sales & Reporting:

Support the national sales manager by compiling monthly reports and facilitating team communication.

Monitor sales leads and update CRM systems regularly.

Administrative Duties:

Ensure invoices, statements, and queries are addressed promptly to maintain account compliance.

Assist in sourcing fleet availability via the National Operations Manager.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Proven customer service experience in a similar role.
• Strong phone etiquette and communication skills.
• Ability to operate CRM systems and basic reporting.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
• Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on building internal and external relationships.
• Attention to detail and a results-driven mindset.
• Previous experience in car rental or related field is a plus
• High school diploma or equivalent
