DEPOT MANAGER

Grindrod Logistics is looking for an experienced Depot Manager to lead our Maitland operation in Cape Town.

This is a senior leadership opportunity with responsibility for the performance of a busy depot environment, including reefer, empty and full container operations, yard and gate activities, container tracking, EMR and reefer management, financial performance, people leadership and SHEQ compliance.

The successful candidate will also play an important role in strengthening customer and stakeholder relationships, driving continuous improvement and ensuring the efficient use of depot resources.

𝗥𝗲𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀:
• Diploma / Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Operations, Transport or Business Management  
• 8 -10 years' container depot / logistics experience  
• 5+ years' senior depot management experience  
• Strong container, EMR & reefer operations knowledge  
• Strong leadership and commercial acumen
