Our client, a leading FMCG/Food Manufacturing company, is seeking a qualified and experienced Electrician to join their maintenance team.
This role is ideal for a hands-on professional with strong electrical maintenance experience within a fast-paced manufacturing environment who is committed to safety, reliability, and operational excellence.

🔹 Minimum Requirements
✅ Grade 12 (Matric)
✅ Relevant Electrical Qualification
✅ Trade Tested Electrician (Red Seal) – Essential
✅ Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar role within an FMCG/Food Manufacturing environment
✅ Previous experience leading or supervising a maintenance team
✅ Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-performance environment

🔹 Key Responsibilities
• Install, repair and maintain electrical systems, machinery and equipment in accordance with electrical codes and safety standards
• Conduct preventative maintenance to ensure optimal equipment performance and reliability
• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical faults using testing and diagnostic equipment
• Inspect electrical systems, circuits and equipment to identify potential risks and malfunctions
• Report electrical faults, safety concerns and potential hazards to the Maintenance Manager
• Ensure strict adherence to all electrical safety standards, procedures and regulations
• Maintain compliance with applicable electrical codes and statutory requirements
• Collaborate with maintenance, engineering and production teams to support operational efficiency
• Respond promptly to electrical breakdowns and emergencies to minimise downtime
• Assist with continuous improvement initiatives to enhance plant performance and reliability
