📍 Sandton, Johannesburg
💰 R20,000 per month – negotiable based on experience

We are looking for a qualified Industrial Engineer to join a team in Sandton.

The successful candidate will focus on process improvement, operational efficiency and continuous improvement, analysing current processes and identifying opportunities to improve productivity, reduce waste and optimise resources.

Key Responsibilities:
• Analyse and improve production and operational processes
• Identify inefficiencies and recommend improvements
• Optimise workflows and assist with resource planning
• Monitor productivity, quality and operational performance
• Analyse data and prepare management reports
• Identify opportunities to reduce costs, waste and downtime
• Develop and maintain process documentation and procedures
• Support continuous improvement and efficiency initiatives
• Work closely with production, engineering and management teams
• Assist with implementing Lean Manufacturing principles

🎓 ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATION:
• BEng / BSc / Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering from an accredited university
• University degree is essential
• Diploma/Technikon qualifications will not be considered for this position

Requirements:
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Good Microsoft Excel and general computer skills
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Ability to work independently and within a team

Advantageous:
• Manufacturing or production experience
• Lean Manufacturing / Six Sigma exposure
• Process optimisation experience
• ERP/MRP system experience
