Are you the person who makes sure nothing falls through the cracks?
OUTprof is recruiting an experienced IT Operations Manager for an exciting leadership opportunity with a specialist UK technology services business.
This is much more than a people-management role. You’ll take ownership of service delivery, lead a team of 7 technical engineers, manage senior client relationships and drive the processes, performance and standards needed to scale a high-performing international operation.
What you’ll be responsible for
🔹 Own day-to-day IT service delivery and SLA performance
🔹 Lead, coach and develop a team of technical engineers
🔹 Act as a senior technical point of contact for key clients
🔹 Improve processes, ticket resolution and operational efficiency
🔹 Track and report the metrics that matter
🔹 Work closely with UK-based leadership
🔹 Help shape and grow the organisation’s South African capability
We’re looking for someone with
✅ 7+ years’ technical IT experience
✅ 4+ years in team leadership or management
✅ Genuine MSP experience
✅ Strong technical foundations and credibility
✅ Experience with the Apple ecosystem and MDM platforms such as Jamf, Intune, Irus or FleetDM
✅ Experience dealing with senior clients, particularly in regulated environments
✅ Strong service-management and process-improvement instincts
✅ Excellent communication skills
✅ A practical, solutions-focused “can do” mindset
ITIL, ISO 27001/Cyber Essentials exposure and experience with UK/international clients would be advantageous.
