We are seeking a highly skilled, hands-on Kärcher Technician to join a premier commercial and industrial cleaning equipment specialist in Bloemfontein. Requirements:

Education: Qualified Artisan (Electrical, Mechanical, or Millwright) or relevant technical trade qualification. Kärcher-specific service certifications are highly advantageous.

Experience: Minimum 3–5 years of hands-on experience stripping, diagnosing, and repairing industrial cleaning machinery (high-pressure cleaners, scrubber-driers, sweepers, and vacuum units).

Technical Skills: Strong electrical fault-finding capabilities, single and 3-phase motor knowledge, hydraulics, pneumatics, and basic small petrol/diesel engine mechanics.

Mobility: Valid driver’s license is essential for field service call-outs.

Key Responsibilities:

Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults on commercial and industrial Kärcher units both in the workshop and out in the field at client sites.

Perform routine preventative maintenance, minor repairs, and complete overhauls on high-pressure pumps, motors, and electronic control boards.

Test all repaired machinery thoroughly to ensure it meets strict safety and manufacturing performance standards before delivery.

Read and interpret electrical schematics and exploded-view parts diagrams to accurately identify and order replacement components.

Provide professional on-site customer service, explaining technical breakdowns and demonstrating correct machine operation to clients.

Complete detailed service reports, job cards, and timesheets accurately for administrative tracking.
