Job Description
You own the off-page side of local SEO across 12-15 client accounts, many with multiple locations. That means Google Business Profile, citations, links, and lead tracking.
You work inside a pod. We pair you with a Senior Local SEO Specialist who owns campaign strategy, on-page work, and end-to-end client outcomes. You own off-page execution and the systems behind it. Together, the pod runs the account.
This is not just an execution role. We need someone who takes real ownership and helps turn the off-page system into something repeatable and high-impact. Link building uses a mix of vendors and manual work today. It works, but it is not yet the engine it needs to be. Same story with citations and NAP. We need someone who can own those lanes, run them well, and help sharpen them into systems that scale.
The other half of this role: take the founder out of the weeds. Walk in, prove you know what you are doing, own the work and the data, and grow with us.
This is not a "GBP posts are done, time to clock out" role. If the month's tasks are complete, the next question is always:
What else can we do to help this client rank better?
What You Will Own
Google Business Profile
- Audit every assigned profile. Keep it accurate, active, and current.
- Publish monthly GBP posts, scheduled weekly when possible.
- Respond to positive reviews within 24 hours. Escalate negative ones.
- Monitor Map Pack competitors. Flag suspicious behavior such as keyword-stuffed names, fake reviews, and ranking manipulation.
- Upload new photos monthly. Keep services, products, and categories current.
- Run multi-location strategies cleanly for clients that need them.
- Coordinate with verification and other GBP specialists.
Citations & NAP
- Build and maintain citations across 12-15 accounts (multiple locations per account in some cases).
- Maintain NAP consistency using SEMrush, BrightLocal, or similar.
- Help sharpen the citation and NAP system into something repeatable and easier to scale.
Link Building
- Coordinate vendor link orders with the Senior SEO Specialist.
- Do manual outreach where it makes sense.
- Verify live placements, monitor anchor usage, confirm indexing.
- Watch for unusual referring domain spikes, drops, or toxic links. Flag immediately.
- Help build link building into a real engine, not a series of one-off orders.
Lead Tracking & Reporting Data
- Own CallRail data. Automatic tagging is in place. You own the monthly numbers.
- Pull and organize lead data so we always have clean, accurate inputs ready for client reports.
- We use AI tools to assemble client-facing reports. Your job is to own the data going in.
New Client Setup
- Tool setup, GBP audit, NAP cleanup, and citation baseline. Completed in the first month without reminders.
