Are you an experienced Payroll Administrator with strong attention to detail, solid payroll knowledge and Sage experience?

Decofurn Furniture is looking for a Payroll Administrator to join our Head Office team and support accurate, compliant and efficient payroll operations.

This role is ideal for someone who is comfortable working with payroll data, reconciliations, deadlines and confidential employee information, and who takes pride in getting the detail right.

💼 Key Responsibilities
✔️ Support accurate weekly and monthly payroll processing
✔️ Validate payroll inputs including new employees, terminations, transfers, promotions, rate changes, overtime, allowances and deductions
✔️ Assist with payroll calculations, corrections, back-pay, leave pay-outs and overpayment recoveries
✔️ Conduct payroll checks and reconciliations and investigate discrepancies
✔️ Assist with statutory and third-party payroll requirements
✔️ Support PAYE, UIF, SDL, EMP201, EMP501 and IRP5/IT3(a) processes
✔️ Assist with payroll-to-Finance reconciliations and investigate costing discrepancies
✔️ Work with time-and-attendance information, including hours, overtime, shifts and absences
✔️ Monitor payroll exceptions and follow up on outstanding information
✔️ Maintain accurate payroll records and audit trails
✔️ Handle employee and management payroll queries professionally and confidentially
✔️ Assist with payroll systems, testing and process improvements
✔️ Support the Payroll Manager and wider payroll team when required

SAGE EXPERIENCE IS VERY IMPORTANT: Strong Sage payroll experience is highly important for this role.

Experience with time-and-attendance system will be advantageous.
