Conical Technologies is Hiring: Sales Engineer – Automation Product Portfolio

Conical Technologies is looking for a motivated and technically minded Sales Engineer to join our team and manage the sales of our growing Automation product portfolio.

This position is immediately available and will be primarily based in Pretoria, with regular travel to customers countrywide.

The successful candidate will be responsible for promoting and growing sales across our automation range, including products such as:

✅ Industrial automation components
✅ Variable Speed Drives
✅ HMI and PLC solutions
✅ DIN-rail power supplies
✅ Industrial communication products
✅ Related automation and control solutions

Key responsibilities will include:

• Managing and developing customer relationships
• Identifying new sales opportunities in the automation and industrial sectors
• Providing technical product support and solution recommendations
• Visiting customers across South Africa
• Preparing quotations and following up on opportunities
• Working closely with suppliers and the Conical Technologies team to grow the product portfolio

The ideal candidate should have:

• A technical background in electrical, electronic, automation, or industrial control products
• Sales experience in the industrial or automation market
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• The ability to work independently and travel when required
• A valid driver’s licence
• Reliable own transportation
