Our client is seeking an experienced, self-motivated and people-oriented Senior Agronomist to provide expert technical advice on crop production, soil management and agricultural practices in the North West Province!

📍 Location: Potchefstroom, North West
💰 Salary: Market Related (Very Competitive)

Essential Qualifications:
✅ Agricultural Degree or Diploma in a relevant field (ESSENTIAL)
🌾 5+ years in an agronomist or similar agricultural role

Key Responsibilities:
Technical Support & Field Trials:
🌾 Provide expert technical support on specific agricultural products
🧪 Conduct and manage planting, harvesting, product trials and statistical analysis
🔬 Work with local collaborators to evaluate new cultivars
📊 Analyse crop performance and provide technical guidance to improve yields

Product Development & Research:
🌱 Assist with evaluating and launching new agricultural products
📈 Support product development and research initiatives
✅ Evaluate new products and cultivars against performance standards
🗺️ Oversee field trials across various locations

Farmer & Industry Engagement:
👨‍🌾 Present products and findings at farmers' days and study groups
🤝 Provide technical guidance to farmers and agricultural teams
📋 Advise on crop production, soil management and agricultural best practices
🚗 Travel to various farming operations as required
