Senior Back-End Developer

We're looking for a Senior Back-End Developer to join our IT Development team in Johannesburg.
This one is for a developer who wants to own architecture rather than implement someone else's. You'd take the server-side services and data layer behind platforms carrying real transaction volume, lead design discussions and code reviews, and mentor the juniors coming up behind you.
What we're looking for
▪ 5+ years' back-end development experience
▪ Deep production experience in C#/.NET, Java or Node.js
▪ Strong SQL Server or equivalent RDBMS, including performance tuning
▪ Comfort diagnosing complex production issues
▪ Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related
Our stack: C# / .NET · SQL Server · Azure · Azure DevOps · Git
Azure or AWS certification, microservices or event-driven architecture experience, and exposure to high-volume transactional systems are all advantageous.
