Are you passionate about preventing cyber risk before it becomes a problem?We’re looking for a Senior Cyber Prevent Specialist to support preventative cybersecurity operations across products, services and technology environments.This is an opportunity to play a key role in ensuring that security is built into solutions from design through to go-live and beyond.

🔐 Key Responsibilities
• Identify cybersecurity risks across new and changed products, services and technology solutions
• Define preventative controls and security requirements
• Review solution designs to ensure security is embedded during design and build
• Provide security assurance and validate controls before go-live
• Assess cybersecurity risks arising from changes to live environments
• Track remediation, exceptions and residual-risk acceptance
• Support Cyber Prevent strategy, control maturity and risk-reduction initiatives
• Manage KRI data, reporting, automation and trend analysis
• Support security assessments, evidence reviews and control-improvement activities
• Translate security policies and standards into practical requirements and acceptance criteria
• Support DevSecOps by embedding security controls into agile delivery, CI/CD pipelines and developer tooling
• Work closely with Security Architecture, Cyber Defence, IAM, Cloud Security, Technology Risk, Privacy and Audit teams

🎯 What We’re Looking For
✔️ 5+ years’ experience in cybersecurity, including governance, risk, assurance or preventative controls
✔️ Degree/diploma in Information Security, Computer Science, Engineering or related field
✔️ Strong understanding of ISO 27001, NIST CSF, PCI DSS, OWASP and SANS
✔️ Experience across multiple security domains such as security assessment, DevSecOps, GRC, security architecture, network security, IAM or security operations
✔️ Experience with KRI management, reporting, data quality and automation
✔️ Strong stakeholder, vendor and programme coordination skills
✔️ Ability to provide technical guidance and support decision-making on complex cyber risks

Certifications: CISSP strongly preferred. CCSP, OSCP, CISM, CISA or equivalent are advantageous. SABSA/TOGAF also beneficial.
