A well-established and entrepreneurial financial services business is looking for a dynamic Senior Financial Manager to lead its Finance function and work closely with the Executive and Senior Leadership teams.
This is a hands-on senior role with broad exposure across financial reporting, finance operations, loan-book processes, forecasting, cash flow, projects and strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities
• Lead and manage the Finance Department
• Ensure IFRS compliance and oversee monthly reporting and annual financial statements
• Manage external audits, VAT, income tax and SARS queries
• Oversee loan-book finance operations, including disbursements, collections and reconciliations
• Prepare budgets, forecasts and cash-flow reports
• Support asset & liability management and other finance projects
• Prepare and present reports to Exco and the Board
• Identify exceptions, risks and opportunities and provide practical solutions

Requirements
✅ CA(SA) with 10+ years' experience, or 15+ years' experience if non-CA(SA)
✅ BCom degree with Accounting and Taxation
✅ Strong commercial finance and leadership experience
✅ Working knowledge of IFRS and financial reporting
✅ Advanced Excel skills
✅ ERP/accounting systems experience, ideally Xero, Sage or QuickBooks
✅ Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills
✅ Experience within a mid-sized, entrepreneurial environment
✅ Exposure to lending/financial services, loan books, ECL and impairment is advantageous

⚠️ Please note: This is a commercial finance leadership role. Audit-only experience, large corporate/multinational-only backgrounds, and BTech/diploma qualifications will not meet the requirements.
