🔧 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Develop and maintain enterprise Java applications
• Build new functionality and enhance existing systems
• Analyse requirements and collaborate with Business Analysts amp; development teams
• Refactor code and improve performance, scalability and maintainability
• Conduct root-cause analysis, debugging and production support
• Develop unit and integration tests
• Build, integrate and deploy applications
• Contribute to SDLC processes, coding standards and technical best practices
• Participate in code reviews and mentor team members

🎯 KEY REQUIREMENTS
• 8–10+ years software development experience
• Minimum 5 years Senior Java Developer experience
• Relevant qualification in Computer Science, Engineering or related field
• Strong Java 8+ experience; Java 17 advantageous
• Java EE/J2EE
• Spring / Spring Boot
• JPA / Hibernate
• SQL amp; relational databases
• REST amp; SOAP Web Services
• ReactJS, JavaScript and/or TypeScript
• HTML5, CSS3 amp; Bootstrap
• Git, Maven amp; Jenkins/CI-CD
• Experience with application servers/containers such as Karaf, JBoss, WebSphere, WebLogic or Tomcat
Financial services/banking experience, Docker/Kubernetes, JMS, XML/JAXB/XSD, automated testing, TDD/BDD and Karaf/OSGi.
