Are you the person who refuses to sign off work unless it's done right?

We're looking for an experienced Site Quality & Commissioning Technician to be the final quality gate before industrial electrical and automation projects are handed over to clients.

If you have extensive experience with industrial electrical installations, commissioning, PLCs, MCCs, VSDs and instrumentation—and take pride in delivering work of the highest standard—we'd love to hear from you.

🔧 Key Responsibilities
• Inspect completed electrical installations and industrial control systems
• Verify compliance with approved drawings, client specifications and SANS 10142
• Conduct functional testing of MCCs, PLC systems, VSDs, motors, instrumentation and control systems
• Inspect cable installations, terminations, earthing, labelling and overall workmanship
• Verify safety systems, emergency stops, interlocks and safety circuits
• Identify defects, compile punch lists and monitor corrective actions
• Support commissioning and plant start-up activities
• Complete commissioning reports and quality documentation
• Verify as-built documentation
• Mentor electricians and technicians to improve installation quality
• Promote a strong safety culture across all projects

✅ Minimum Requirements
✔ Qualified Electrician (Trade Tested)
✔ National Diploma in Electrical Engineering (advantageous)
✔ Minimum 5 years' experience in industrial electrical installations
✔ Experience with PLCs, MCCs, VSDs, instrumentation and industrial automation
✔ Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics
✔ Sound knowledge of SANS 10142 and electrical safety requirements
✔ Valid driver's licence
✔ Willingness to travel to project sites
