Video Editor(Expired)

We're looking for a Short-Form Video Editor to own our short-form output across TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and LinkedIn. You'll turn long-form source material (podcast episodes, interviews, keynotes, and event footage) into scroll-stopping, publish-ready clips, and help define the visual identity of Beyond Tomorrow on social.

We are hiring only those who are genuinely obsessed with the megatrends of longevity and AI, and who are mission-aligned. You'll be editing conversations with some of the most important thinkers in these fields, and the best clips come from an editor who actually understands and cares about the ideas.

This is a self-managed, accountable role suited to someone who can operate independently while communicating proactively within a remote team.

What a Typical Day Could Look Like

No two days will be the same, but a typical day could involve:

• Reviewing a new podcast episode and identifying the strongest clip-worthy moments
• Editing a batch of short-form clips with hooks, captions, and platform-native pacing
• Applying the Beyond Tomorrow brand style, subtitle templates, and motion elements
• Cutting highlight reels from summits, keynotes, and live events
• Revising clips based on feedback from the founder and the media team
• Testing AI-assisted editing tools and workflows to speed up repetitive steps
• Jumping on whatever is most important that day, whether or not it's technically “your job”
• Supporting our video lead with high-level editing for mid and long-form content.

Key Responsibilities

• Edit short-form video (TikTok, Reels, Shorts, LinkedIn) with strong hooks, pacing, and retention
• Extract and reframe the best moments from long-form content (podcast episodes, interviews, event footage) for social distribution
• Create engaging captions, subtitles, and text overlays consistent with the Beyond Tomorrow brand
• Deliver final, publish-ready assets in the correct formats, aspect ratios, and specs for each platform
• Help shape and evolve the visual identity of Beyond Tomorrow across social platforms
• Organise projects and source files for efficient collaboration and handoff
• Manage deadlines across multiple workstreams and ensure consistent, reliable output
• Communicate proactively on progress, delays, and blockers
• Leverage AI tools to improve production efficiency and quality
